Black Long Hair Tip #5
This tip assumes that you have taken the advice of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th tips and picked up and read those three books. Now, you need to make sure that your stylist is on the same page.
I’m reiterating this for one simple reason. I’ve found that most clients who go into hair salons DON’T really know the background and experience of their stylist and they end up making a lot of harmful assumptions. Something as simple as a stylist truly comprehending that hair grows just one half inch per month.
That being the case, if a stylist is cutting a half-inch off every time you see her or him, your hair will never grow! We laugh at that elementary illustration, however, I could write a book about the number of women. I’ve met who were puzzled as to why their hair wouldn’t grow.
Once they quizzed their stylist, they got to the root of the problem, (no pun intended!). Almost immediately, the change they saw in their hair growth was amazing.
